What does the Membership & Subscriptions plug-in do?

The Membership & Subscriptions plug-in allows marketplace administrators to charge merchants a recurring membership or subscription fee when they join your marketplace. 

Previously, marketplace administrators were only able to charge merchants a percentage-based commission on transactions - but now with the Membership & Subscriptions plug-in, a fixed, recurring fee can be applied as well.

Set a fixed recurring fee for merchants to be charged automatically every month.

MEMBERSHIP FEE & COMMISSION FEE

You can set up your marketplace to include a merchant membership fee only, or a percentage-based commission fee for each transaction and a merchant membership fee.  

EASY SET UP

Link your Stripe account to the plug-in so you don’t need to worry about collecting your recurring fees. In the case of overdue payments, you can set up email reminders in Stripe to remind your merchants to pay the invoice.
